Library staff are effecting a partial and phased reopening, however, a strict protocol will be established. The first step will be contactless lending. Reservations via “Symphony”, e-mail or telephone will be possible. The books will be placed in a paper bag that must be quarantined for 72 hours, and then, by appointment only, members will be able to pick up their bag. Returns will be made via the book chute only. The books returned will also be subject to 72 hours quarantine.
Library members will be notified by SMS or e-mail of the start date and method of procedure.

The Dunham municipal library is a cultural service available to all our citizens. The library personnel are supported by volunteers who work to create a pleasant and stimulating atmosphere.

Mes Aïeux is available to members of libraries affiliated with Réseau BIBLIO de la Montérégie. Mes Aïeux is a digital Quebecois resource entirely dedicated to genealogy research. You can access Mes Aïeux from your municipal library or remotely (home, school, workplace, etc.). For further information, please consult MesAïeux.
New digital resource:
Members of the municipal library now have access to a new digital resource toutapprendre.com comprising of over 2,000 online courses. You will need your library membership number and PIN to access the site.
*Please note that the library does not accept any used books.

New library service:
The PRETNUMERIQUE.CA platform, used by more than 1,000 public libraries in Quebec, is now available via a dedicated reading application in IOS (APPLE) and ANDROID format.
Thanks to a simple and user-friendly interface, the PRETNUMERIQUE.CA application makes it possible to consult the library’s digital catalogue and to easily borrow, reserve and read digital books and eAudiobooks within the application.
