Art Center Vernissage: Christiane Pravaz

Exposition:  January 25th to February 20th

Vernissage:  January 25th, 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm

Horses do not share the same perception of the world as humans do, as time does not exist for them.

Pursuing a link between movement, colours and the unpredictable, Christiane Pravaz aspires to convey this freedom of expression – pure, wild, joyful – without words, by painting horses unfettered and without constraint.

L’espace d’un instant is a series of acrylic and vegetable ink works where unbridled freedom and the abstract background colours support and contrast the true expression of a horse in motion.

Native of Lyon, France and a graduate of “Beaux-Arts” in Europe, she had adopted Québec, specifically, Sutton in the Eastern Townships, as her home.  Christiane Pravaz works in the audio-visual field and scenic painting, while pursuing her own creativity, inspired by the wisdom of horses.
