Opening of Sylvie Fusade
Friendships: madness and appeasement by Sylvie Fusade
I am developing a constantly evolving artistic approach where I explore the feminine unconscious through different mediums. “Friendships: madness and appeasement” digs deeper into the healthy or dysfunctional bonds and underlying unconscious needs of female friendships. Beautiful impulses and compromises are expressed in the light of bold pastel strokes, in a drive towards abstraction. The saturated colors evoke the emotional intensity of precious affinities. The exhibition wishes to bring the visitor to consider the notions of sisterhood and cooperation as keys to a better harmony. I am also an art therapist for children in social pediatrics, which is not unrelated.
