Stories of love and humor with the Lyl Trio

Varied musical program ranging from great classics to Quebec songs, including a few surprises along the way!

For the occasion, there will be two performances.  One at 1:30 p.m. and the second at 4 p.m.  The concert is free, but seating is limited. Lorraine Prieur, a pianist for over 50 years, pursues a career as a chamber musician, teacher and accompanist. She has taught at UQÀM and at the Université de Montréal where she was musical director of the opera workshop and was also acting director of the conservatories of Montréal, Gatineau and Rimouski. Ms. Prieur is a guest at the Orford Arts Centre where she works as a pianist in various instrument classes.

Luc Saucier has been a professional chorister at the Opéra de Montréal for 30 years, as well as an experienced animator, teacher and calligrapher in addition to being a piper. A versatile singer, Luc Saucier lends his voice to operatic arias as well as German, Russian, English and French melodies.  Spouses in life, Lorraine and Luc conduct concerts at the Salon de musique de La Montée des arts in Mont-Saint-Hilaire to help young musicians.
