Public Security

In Dunham, public security services are divided into two groups.

Prevention, surveillance and follow-up of judicial files are carried out by the Sûreté du Québec, who have a police station in Dunham. An agreement with the MRC Brome‑Missisquoi ensures these services are offered throughout their territory and conform to the new regulation (2010-11) adopted by all MRC municipalities.

Dial 310-4141 at any time, to reach the Sûreté du Québec. Obviously, 911 can also be used for emergencies (fire, ambulance, etc.).

Another component of Dunham’s public security is provided by our local fire department and first responders. Patrick Cournoyer is Dunham’s fire chief. For further details, please consult the Fire service section and the website Dunham Fire Safety Service (SSID).

We also encourage our residents to read the Guide d’information de la Sûreté du Québec.
